SISTER'S CHOICE

This Months Block of the Month is called Sister's Choice. It's much simpler to make than it looks!

CUTTING:

Background: Cut four 2 1/2" square

Light: Cut eight 2 1/2" squares

Light Medium: Cut four 3" squares. Mark a diagonal on the back of each (Shown as light green on the diagram)

Medium: Cut four 3" squares (Shown as darker blue on the diagram)

Dark: Cut five 2 1/2" squares

SEWING:

Put the light-medium and the medium-light squares right sides together and sew a scant 1/4" each side of the drawn line. Cut on the drawn line. Open up and press. Eight HST's made.

Now line up the squares and the HST's according to the diagram and sew each row together.

Sew the rows together, press and square to 10 1/2"
